Da Nang adds 69 housing construction areas in preparation for merger

Da Nang proposed to add 69 more areas planned for housing development (including 45 areas planned for social housing development) to prepare for the merger with Quang Nam province.

On the afternoon of June 23, the 24th session of the 10th term People's Council of Da Nang city, term 2021 - 2026, approved the Proposal to adjust the Housing Development Program of Da Nang city for the period 2021 - 2030 of the People's Committee of Da Nang city.

According to the Proposal of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, from now until the Da Nang City Housing Development Program for the period 2021 - 2030 due to the merger of provincial administrative units, it is necessary to review and supplement the planned housing development area into the City Housing Development Program for the period 2021 - 2030 to serve as a basis for approving investment policies for housing construction investment projects and urban areas with housing, contributing significantly to promoting the city's economic development in the coming time.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Da Nang City proposed to add 45 areas planned for social housing development. Together with 24 areas planned for social housing development according to the approved Da Nang City Housing Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2025, Da Nang increased to 69 areas planned for social housing development.

For commercial housing, Da Nang proposed to add 24 areas for development. Together with 98 areas for commercial housing development according to the Da Nang City Housing Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2025, the total area for commercial housing development is increased to 122 areas.
