At the program, Ms. Trinh Thi Hien Tran, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Pioneer Council emphasized that building new rural areas is a major policy of the Party and State to improve the socio-economic and environmental conditions, aiming to improve the quality of people's lives. With a pioneering and ambitious spirit, the city's youth have been actively participating in this process.

Ms. Trinh Thi Hien Tran suggested that the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the city continue to promote the vanguard role of young people, propagate and raise awareness in the community about building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.

Ms. Trinh Thi Hien Tran also suggested that it is necessary to focus on building infrastructure, improving landscapes, protecting the environment, promoting the application of science and technology, and promoting the role of young volunteer intellectuals.

After planting trees with volunteers and watching the green road gradually take shape, student Nguyen Duy Khang, University of Health Sciences - VNU-HCM, felt extremely happy and proud.
"The project contributes to improving the rural landscape and is a message about a green, civilized and sustainable lifestyle. We also donated more than 300 environmental books to children, along with many other practical tasks to spread the spirit of positive, environmentally friendly living to the community," Duy Khang shared.
