Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia and provincial leaders visited and presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tiu, born in 1923, Chau Tien village, wife of martyr Pham Khac Thuat, who died during the resistance war against French colonialism, and Mr. Nguyen Gia Cu, born in 1948, Hai Ha village, a seriously wounded soldier.
The Provincial Party Secretary and the working delegation kindly inquired about the health, material and spiritual life of the families, and expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of the families in the struggle for national liberation.
He affirmed that the Party, the State and Hung Yen province always pay special attention to people with meritorious services and their families, and at the same time hope that families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, set good examples in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and encourage their children to actively compete in studying, working and producing, contributing to the development of their homeland. He requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to take better care of families with meritorious services in the area with the most meaningful and practical actions, demonstrating the nation's fine tradition and morality of remembering the source of water when drinking water.
