Spacious classrooms at Giong Noi remote location help teaching and learning achieve higher quality.

The Giong Noi satellite location belongs to the Vinh Hai 4 Primary School cluster. In the 2025-2026 school year, this location has 139 students, most of whom are Khmer ethnic people. In terms of facilities, the Giong Noi satellite location has 5 classrooms but they are degraded, making teaching and learning difficult. Sponsored by the ILA education organization in collaboration with the Light Up The Future Fund, the 5 classrooms at the Giong Noi satellite location have been upgraded, such as repainting, treating mold, replacing corrugated iron roofs, installing ceilings, repairing tables and chairs, adding teaching equipment; building a new restroom area including separate male and female areas, a clean water system that meets standards, and equipment suitable for primary school students. The total cost of implementation is about 280 million VND.

At the handover ceremony, ILA Education Organization and Light Up The Future Foundation also coordinated to give 580 back-to-school gifts to students including: backpacks, notebooks and school supplies; pre-assembled lanterns for the children to enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival. At the same time, ILA's foreign teachers directly taught the class, bringing the students 3 English lessons. This activity helped Giong Noi students initially get acquainted with English through games, songs and basic communication at primary level.

Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Thanh, representative of ILA Education Organization, said that through this activity, ILA Education Organization and Light Up The Future Fund hope to contribute to improving facilities and creating more motivation for students in ethnic minority areas to go to school. The gifts given directly will bring joy and motivation for students to enter the new school year.
